ChangeBASE announces Mozilla Firefox Plug-in for AOK Browse-It

Market leader addresses multi-platform browser compatibility in the enterprise.
London, 6th October 2011 – ChangeBASE, the world leader in application compatibility testing, remediation and conversion today announced the launch of its Mozilla Firefox plug-in for AOK Browse-It, the company’s award winning browser and web application compatibility testing and reporting module.
No longer are organisations standardising on a single browser for their environment. Enterprises are now deploying a multi-browser approach in the same way they do with platforms and applications.  Firefox is the second most-favoured browser in the enterprise next to Internet Explorer holding approximately 26% market share. By deploying a multi-browser approach, organisations can provision a more versatile IT environment. As Firefox in particular has been developed in open source, it enables organisations to utilise the browser across the tablets, smart phones and other devices which now shape the enterprise IT landscape.
“Launching the AOK Browse-It Firefox plug-in is yet another differentiator for AOK and ChangeBASE,” commented Greg Chief Technology Architect, ChangeBASE. “By deploying multi-browser enivronments, organisations are enabling staff to access corporate web applications from any device. The need to ensure that the browser chosen is compatible with those applications is essential.”
