In a recent Proof of Concept, ChangeBASE demonstrated the capabilities of AOK to an organisation looking to move around 1000 applications from Windows XP to Windows 7 64-bit and Microsoft App-V.

As you can see, the organisation will experience various problems if migrated as planned. The Windows 64-bit report group naturally flags up more applications as red than the Windows 7 group as we see more compatability difficulties in reaching this platform. Whilst testing and fixing a few applications may not be a huge job, potentially doing the same for 1000 and getting accurate results on which to plan a migration project is. Thanks to the AOK software suite by ChangeBASE, the organisation knows exactly what the problems are and where these lie, so its skilled resource can focus where it is needed.
